What is a Junior Original Concert?
Junior Original Concert, or JOC, refers to a concert
that features Yamaha Music Education System
(YMES) students and graduates performing their
own original compositions. Thousands of Yamaha
students around the world participate each year in
JOC Concerts that may be held on the local,
regional, or international level.
| What is the International Junior Original Concert?
The International Junior Original Concert (IJOC), sponsored by the Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan, is held annually in Tokyo. The concert features some of the most outstanding Yamaha student composer/performers from around the world.
